JENNIFER B. GARDNER
 Jennifer B. Gardner is a California native, born in San Francisco and raised in Los Angeles, and the founder of Gardner+Associates. She earned her degree in Political Science in 1983 from University of California at Los Angeles, and her JD from Southwestern University in 1986. During law school, she was active in the Moot Court Honors program, and clerked for the California Court of Appeal. After graduation, she was an associate with the renowned entertainment litigation firm of Lavely & Singer, before founding her own law firms as a partner at McPherson & Grossblatt (1992) and Gardner & Booth (1995).
For over 20 years, Ms. Gardner has represented individuals and enterprises of all sizes in litigation matters from their inception through trial, focusing on real estate, entertainment, and business litigation. She also has expanded her practice to represent individuals in criminal matters involving allegations as serious as homicide, manslaughter, robbery, terrorist threats, narcotics trafficking, child molestation, DUI/DWI and domestic violence.
Since 2002, Ms. Gardner has served as an Arbitrator and a Hearing Officer for the Los Angeles County Civil Service and Employee Relations Commissions. This experience enables her to bring to her work as an attorney the perspective and experience of a judicial officer.
Ms. Gardner has been a member of the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting arts education and international art exchange -- Theatre of Hearts Youth First and Common Ground. In 2005, she founded Global Artists Management to provide representation and consultation for international film makers and visual artists in the United States and in Europe. In 2006, she founded AstroText!, LLC, which provides mobile entertainment content for cell phones.
In her spare time, Ms. Gardner enjoys travel, learning languages, and photography. She has exhibited her photographs in the US, Europe and Mexico. She has also served as general or “coordinating” corporate counsel, and as manager for film makers and visual artists in the US and in Europe.
